4. Keep messages short enough to fit.
The fillable text boxes do not expand. If text scrolls or clips, shorten the wording and print-test again.

Printing Recommendations
For best results, print a single test sheet before printing multiple copies.
- Use US Letter paper
- Print single-sided
- Select Actual Size / 100%
- Turn off Fit to Page
- Turn off double-sided printing
- Check that typed entries are visible and not clipped
Regular printer paper works well. Cardstock is optional if your printer supports it.
Color printing is optional. The headings are designed to remain readable in grayscale, although printed colors may vary from what appears on your screen.
Cutting & Assembly
The cards and tags include dashed cutting guides and must be cut after printing.
These are flat cards, not folded greeting cards, and the tags are not formatted for pre-cut label-sheet templates.
If you choose to punch a hole in a tag, use a clear corner away from the printed wording. When attaching tags to candle packaging, keep paper, string, and ribbon away from candle flames and do not cover product safety labels.
Keep Appreciation Personal & Private
Before sharing any card, message, certificate, or fundraiser update, check the recipient name, spelling, signature, and any stated results.
Do not include addresses, payment information, private medical details, or other sensitive information in materials intended for public or shared use.
Never send your complete working kit to a supporter. A working copy may contain information or edits intended for other recipients.
Recognition Should Always Be Respectful
Do not publicly share a supporter’s name, photograph, personal story, purchase amount, or contribution details without appropriate permission.
Supporters also should not be ranked or publicly compared based on how much they purchased or contributed.
A thank-you does not automatically give permission to add someone to a mailing list, future marketing campaign, or promotional contact list.
Share Impact Only When It Is Confirmed
Use the impact cards and update templates only with information you have verified from your own fundraiser records.
Money collected is not always the same as money remaining after refunds, product costs, fees, shipping, or other obligations.
The included templates help communicate your results — they do not calculate those results for you.
If results are not final, use appropriate wording indicating that the fundraiser is still being finalized rather than announcing an outcome too early.
Use Accurate Financial & Awareness Language
Do not imply that a fundraiser purchase is tax-deductible unless that statement is accurate for the specific transaction and organization involved.
